From athlete to fashion model to Yoga and Pilates devotee to Success Coach, Jennifer Whyte has walked many paths, and all paths have led to Poised Living, a resource for anyone seeking to live a more balanced life.

Jennifer first discovered Yoga and Pilates in 1994 while living in New York as a model. Both practices worked wonders keeping her body camera-ready, but more importantly, the intent focus, controlled breathing and self-awareness fostered an inner peace that would have otherwise been easily snuffed out in an industry all too focused on the superficial. She later left the business resolved to share what she had discovered.

Upon returning to California permanently, Jennifer earned certifications in Pilates (BASI), Co-Active Coaching (CTI), and Yoga (It’s Yoga), and opened Poised Living in the Bay Area as a way of teaching the same mind, body and spirit balance that served her so well.

As an instructor of Ashtanga Yoga, Jennifer is noted for her uncanny ability to identify what’s holding one back and then unlocking undiscovered potential; and she specializes in results-oriented Pilates. Jennifer feels that coaching is not a tool for digging deep into the past but rather propelling you into a desired future.

Today Poised Living thrives and Jennifer offers personally tailored programs to clients in the San Francisco Bay and Los Angeles areas.
